Zeekr 9x Ultra Full-size PHEV SUV

 The 2026 model brings meaningful upgrades compared to the 2025 version. The 2025 release only offered the 6-seater layout, while the 2026 Ultra adds the 5-seater variant. This 5-seater layout frees up far more cargo space in the rear luggage compartment. On the sensing hardware side, 2026 70kWh versions get upgraded from binocular front cameras to trinocular cameras, paired with expanded LiDAR arrays, which improves detection capability in low light and poor weather. The infotainment panel also shifts from OLED to Mini LED for the main centre screen on higher-spec trims, delivering brighter display performance under strong sunlight.

For exterior styling, the ZEEKR 9X Ultra carries a commanding, solid presence typical of a full-size luxury SUV. Its large vertical grille paired with pixel adaptive LED headlamps forms the front identity. The vehicle uses smooth, clean body lines, with integrated electric suction doors as standard. Buyers can select 21-inch factory wheels or optional 22-inch forged alloy rims. A range of exterior colours including Stellar White, Stellar Black, Glacier Silver and Wild Brown are available for selection.

Inside the cabin, the cabin adopts a wrap-around luxury cockpit layout. Premium genuine leather covers most touch surfaces, paired with natural wood trim and ambient lighting adjustable across 16.8 million colours. Front seats come with heating, ventilation and massage functions. On the 6-seater variant, second-row zero-gravity seats are fitted, with optional power rotation for the second-row chairs. A 47-inch AR-HUD, 16-inch 3.5K main OLED screen and matching co-pilot display form the core cockpit display system. Dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips power the ZEEKR OS, supporting multi-screen interaction, 5G connectivity and over-the-air updates.

For intelligent driving features, ZEEKR Ultra runs on the NVIDIA Drive Thor-U chip. The base setup uses one 192-line LiDAR, while upgraded variants feature five 520-line LiDAR units. The ADAS package supports full-speed adaptive cruise, lane centering, automatic lane change and automatic parking functions. The system works with multiple cameras, ultrasonic sensors and millimetre radars to monitor surroundings continuously. Safety features such as AEB, blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert all come standard. 

The chassis package includes dual-chamber air suspension and adjustable CCD dampers, with optional 48V active anti-roll bars to reduce body roll during cornering. The suspension height can be adjusted to balance highway comfort and off-road capability.
