On July 15, 1953, the foundation stone of the First Automobile Manufacturing Plant was laid in Changchun, Jilin, and the automobile industry of New China was launched. In 1956, the First Automobile Manufacturing Plant was completed and put into production, and the "Jiefang" brand truck was born, ending the history of my country's inability to manufacture automobiles. After 70 years of development, at present, China has become the world's largest automobile production and sales country for 14 consecutive years, and the production and sales scale of new energy vehicles has ranked first in the world for 8 consecutive years.
