Recently, the XPeng GX has completed its declaration in the 404th batch of announcements released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China. Positioned as a flagship AI New Luxury large 6-seater SUV, the all-new model is scheduled for official launch in April-May 2026, offering both battery electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) powertrain variants to compete head-on with segment rivals such as the Li L9 and AITO M9.

The XPeng GX measures 5265×1999×1800 mm with a wheelbase of 3115 mm, adopting a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The third row is fitted with independent headrests as well as ventilation and heating functions, and ample storage space is guaranteed even when the vehicle is fully occupied. Built on the SEPA 3.0 Physical AI Architecture, the new car comes fully equipped with premium core configurations: it features Steer-by-Wire (SbW) and Rear-Wheel Active Steering (RWAS) as standard, paired with a dual-chamber air suspension and DCC adaptive damping system, which greatly enhances the vehicle's handling flexibility and maneuverability.

In terms of intelligence, the XPeng GX is equipped with multiple Turing Chips and mated with the XNGP 5.0 Intelligent Driving System, supporting mapless intelligent driving navigation available across the country. Its intelligent cockpit is powered by dual 8295 chips, enabling six-screen interconnection and multi-modal interaction; 22-inch mixed-size tires are also available as an option for the high-end trims.

For powertrain, the EREV variant is equipped with a combination of a 1.5T range extender and front/rear dual electric motors, delivering a WLTC pure electric range of 320 km to meet long-distance travel demands. The BEV variant is built on an 800V high-voltage platform and supports 5C ultra-fast charging, offering two versions: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The dual-motor version boasts a combined maximum power of 430 kW and a top speed of 200 km/h.
