Zeekr Auto recently released more official images of its mid-to-large SUV, the Zeekr 8X, and announced the vehicle's exterior color options, including Yunpo Red, Yuehai Gray, Xuanwu Gray, Polar Night Black, and Polar Day White, totaling 5 colors available. Officially positioned as a high-performance flagship SUV, the Zeekr 8X is built on the Haohan Super E-Mix Architecture and offers two interior layouts: 5-seater and 6-seater. Currently, the vehicle has completed new car declaration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, but the specific launch and market release dates have not been announced.
Sources indicate that the Zeekr 8X may start at a price of 400,000 yuan, with the main sales variants possibly starting at 430,000 yuan.
Upon its market launch, the new model will form a dual-flagship matrix with the Zeekr 9X to meet the diverse needs of consumers.

The Zeekr 8X basically inherits the design style of the Zeekr 9X, with a striking straight waterfall chrome grille on the front face. However, compared to the executive and majestic aura of the Zeekr 9X, the Zeekr 8X features more muscular lines and a more prominent sporty attribute.
Notable details include the Zeekr 8X's adoption of traditional door handles, a lidar on the roof, as well as sporty rim designs and opposed six-piston calipers. Additionally, it has a towing capacity certification of 2,000 kilograms.
Furthermore, the Zeekr 8X is expected to launch a "Black Warrior" style variant, which will further enhance its sense of mystery. In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 8X has a length, width, and height of 5100/1998/1780 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3069 mm, making it slightly smaller overall than the Zeekr 9X.
In terms of power, the Zeekr 8X is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, using the same engine model as the Zeekr 9X, with a maximum power of 205kW. It is expected to be fitted with three electric motors, along with configurations such as the Haohan AI Digital Chassis and 48V active stabilizer bars, delivering outstanding handling performance.
Moreover, it will be equipped with a 6C ultra-fast charging large battery, offering pure electric cruising ranges of 257km and 328km under WLTC conditions. Zeekr's cumulative sales exceeded 224,000 units in 2025. In January 2026, it delivered 23,852 units, a year-on-year increase of 99.7%.
Since its launch, the Zeekr 9X has become a phenomenal bestseller, with an average transaction price of 538,000 yuan. Even overseas, there has been a craze of price premiums for purchases.
Although the Zeekr 8X is positioned as a sports flagship, which may seem like a bold move, it is Zeekr's area of expertise. After all, the outstanding handling capabilities of the Zeekr 001FR are there for all to see, so the Zeekr 8X is currently generating significant buzz. Some media even risked a fine of 5 million yuan to release a preview review video in advance.
In response, Zeekr officially issued a statement, stating that the premature appearance of content related to the Zeekr 8X has disrupted the established information release schedule, and reaffirmed Zeekr's emphasis on product launch order and information fairness. The luxury 9-series SUV segment is highly competitive, and the Zeekr 9X, as a latecomer, has managed to carve out a niche, which is a testament to its exceptional strength. Being able to enjoy luxury, technology, and style without a million-yuan price tag is Zeekr's advantage.
The Zeekr 8X, on the other hand, is more inclined to be the personal vehicle for successful individuals.
