As a green means of transportation with broad development prospects, electric vehicles will be popularized at an extremely rapid speed in the future, and the future market prospect is also extremely huge. In the context of the global energy crisis and the serious environmental crisis, the Chinese government actively promotes the application and development of new energy vehicles. As an important supporting infrastructure necessary for the development of electric vehicles, the charging/changing power station has very important social and economic benefits. A campaign to build an electric vehicle charging/changing power station has been launched nationwide.
The overall system consists of four parts: electric vehicle charging pile, concentrator, battery management system (BMS), and charging management service platform.
The control circuit of the electric vehicle charging pile (plug) is mainly completed by the embedded ARM processor. Users can self swipe their cards for user authentication, balance query, billing query and other functions, and can also provide voice output interface to achieve voice interaction. The user can select four charging modes according to the indication of the LCD screen: charging on time, charging according to quantity, automatic charging, charging according to mileage, etc.
The electric vehicle charger controller and concentrator use CAN bus for data interaction, and the concentrator and server platform use wired Internet or wireless GPRS network for data interaction. For the sake of security, the electricity billing and amount data are encrypted securely.
The main function of the battery management system (BMS) is to monitor the working state of the battery (voltage, current and temperature of the battery), predict the battery capacity (SOC) of the power battery and the corresponding remaining mileage, manage the battery to avoid over discharge, over charge, overheating and serious voltage imbalance between individual batteries, and maximize the battery storage capacity and cycle life.
The charging service management platform mainly has three functions: charging management, charging operation and comprehensive query. The charging management conducts centralized management on the basic data involved in the system, such as electric vehicle information, battery information, user card information, and charging pile (plug) information; Charging operation mainly conducts charging management for user charging; Comprehensive query refers to the comprehensive analysis and query of management and operation data.
