Zeekr, the premium intelligent mobility brand under Geely Holding Group, has officially released the official images and core details of its all-new mid-to-large SUV, the Zeekr 8X. Built on the SEA Super E-Mix platform developed by Zeekr Technology Europe in Gothenburg, this model is positioned as a high-performance flagship SUV and is set to make its global debut in the first half of 2026. Integrating cutting-edge technology, dynamic performance and luxurious comfort, it is fully committed to competing in the global high-end SUV market.
The Zeekr 8X inherits the brand's family-style design language while upgrading and refreshing it with a sense of sophistication and futurism. The front face adopts a cascading grille design, exuding a strong presence, and is paired with split-type headlight groups to enhance the model's recognition. The lidar mounted on the roof highlights its high-level intelligent driving capabilities. The smooth and stretched lines on the side of the body balance aerodynamic efficiency and a full-bodied stance, while the through-type taillight at the rear outlines a unique visual identity, leaving a deep impression both day and night.
In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 8X has a length of 5,100mm, a width of 1,998mm, a height of 1,780mm, and a wheelbase of 3,069mm, firmly positioning it in the mid-to-large SUV category. The generous dimensions endow it with ample interior space, offering both 5-seat and 6-seat configurations to adapt to diverse scenarios such as family travel and business reception. Notably, the third-row legroom and headroom performance are among the best in its class, even outperforming some premium German competitors, ensuring a comfortable experience for adult passengers during long journeys.
Inside the cabin, the Zeekr 8X achieves a symbiosis of luxury and technology. The integrated screen composed of the central control screen and the front passenger entertainment screen takes center stage, while the column-mounted gear shifter frees up more practical space on the center console, creating a concise and neat layout. The vehicle is equipped with a wealth of high-end configurations, including wireless smartphone charging, a high-end Naim audio system (delivering an immersive audio experience), and a large-size entertainment screen mounted on the rear ceiling, which can fully meet the entertainment needs of rear-seat passengers.
In terms of power, the Zeekr 8X is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum power of 205kW. It offers two battery capacity options – 55.1kWh and 70kWh – to adapt to different travel scenarios and range requirements. Relying on the SEA-R platform tailored for high-end full-size PHEV models, the Zeekr 8X is expected to achieve excellent performance and energy efficiency, with a combined range exceeding 1,000km when fully fueled and charged, completely alleviating range anxiety for long-distance travel.
In addition to core performance, the Zeekr 8X is also equipped with a series of advanced configurations to comprehensively improve vehicle practicality and driving quality. According to filing documents, the vehicle has a 2,000kg towing capacity, making it suitable for outdoor travel scenarios such as towing caravans and trailers. At the same time, the new car is expected to be equipped with 6C ultra-fast charging batteries to achieve rapid energy replenishment. Combined with the SEA AI Digital Chassis and 48V active stabilizer bars, it jointly improves steering precision, driving smoothness and stability under complex road conditions, balancing urban comfortable driving and outdoor passing capability.
Currently, Zeekr is accelerating its global layout, planning to establish direct sales outlets in major Western European markets by 2026. It has previously demonstrated its layout strength in the Southeast Asian market at events such as the Bangkok International Motor Show, and the addition of the Zeekr 8X will further improve its flagship product matrix.
